The Zagreb School of Economics and Management has concluded an agreement on an additional diploma program with the elite French Grande-Ecole La Rochelle Business School from France (Excelia Business School), a member of the Excelia Group.
Our professor Ivanka Rajh participated in the FET-Business Insights conference organized by the Faculty of Economics and Tourism "Dr. Mijo Mirković” from Pula. She spoke about the challenges in teaching the language of the profession and business communication and the importance of going to international exchange and doing an internship for the development of communication skills of each student.
Dr. Nevistić currently runs her advisory boutique, VereNovo GmbH, focusing on strategic and business transformation topics, and also serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Boards of three companies: Compagnie Financiere Richemont SA, Samskip BV and Constellation Acquisition Corp I.
A paper on “Social physics” was published in the Elsevier Physics Report with an impact factor of 26. The general public could be particularly interested in an article on corruption and democracy on “The microdynamics shaping the relationship between democracy and corruption” published in The Royal Society with impact factor “Proceedings A”.
It is the fruit of a collaboration between 3 high level institutions from Belgium - HEC U-Liege, Croatia - Zagreb School of Economics and Management, and Lithuania – ISM and more than 10 associated partners.
The conference was based on the fact that the Asian market has a lot of untapped potentials and that Croatia should continue to build links to that part of the world.
The first Supply Chain Event was held at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management with an aim to share best practices, open essential topics, and facilitate discussions on supply chain management. The event has gathered 170 people from business and academia, both online and offline.
At the meeting, three representatives of ZSEM introduced in detail the MBA programs at ZSEM, what the schools offers and the concerns of the Chinese Embassy in Croatia to the ZSEM Chinese students.
The Dean and the Ambassador discussed the importance of ties between Irish academic institutions and ZSEM in terms of student exchanges, mobility of academic teaching and non-teaching staff, and additional opportunities for collaboration.
In the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, the dean had the honor of meeting and speaking with President Emmanuel Macron.
Dean Mato Njavro, Ph.D. welcomed the former Vice Governor of the Croatian National Bank (HNB), Mr. Tomislav Presečan at ZSEM.
Our lecturers held a ZSEM workshop for young talents from Franck d.d. on the topic "Process optimization and teamwork"!
Finalists took part in a H-FARM bootcamp in Italy where they worked on their startups and visited number of companies!
Dubrovnik hosted the first EXPO University fair which was visited by about 2,000 high school graduates!
ZSEM and MATE Marketing tehnologija organized a book launch written by Lee Kuan Yew, founder, and father of modern Singapore.
As part of the conference Women in Business, which was held on Wednesday 13.10.2021. from 12:15 to 13:45 at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Julie Felker, PhD, gave a lecture on the topic in Gender Differences in Leadership: Fact vs Fiction.
