During the four-year study, students master courses in economics, management, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, and business law, which help them guide their future careers. In addition to compulsory courses, students gain additional knowledge in their field of interest through optional classes.

Personalization of education is a key step towards developing a successful career. Students undergraduate studies at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management can choose between four concentrations. Concentrations are packages of five elective courses, two of which are taught at in English and three in Croatian.
The tuition fee includes internationally recognized literature used by the world's best universities. In addition to the set of mandatory literature, students also receive a number of additional literature, such as the biography of Elon Musk, the founder of NIKE, or the book Industry of the Future, in order to constantly expand their horizons. To prepare students for success in global business environment exposed to constant technological changes, Career Center organizes a series of educational and practical workshops for career development. On in the workshops, students learn to write a CV properly and motivationally letter, how to behave at a job interview and get to know others stages of the process in order to stand out as an ideal candidate.

The development of a dual career is something that ZŠEM encourages and facilitates for its students allowing them a lot of flexibility in fulfilling their obligations. Many students already have permanent job, and a large number of them are also professional athletes.
