The Zagreb School of Economics and Management is honored to be one of the organizers of the 11th High-Level Think Tank Symposium of China–Central and Eastern European Countries (China–CEEC) — the highest-level annual institutional think tank event under the China–CEEC Cooperation Mechanism.
Held under the theme “The World at a Crossroads: China–CEEC Cooperation”, the Symposium brought together over 60 distinguished scholars, think tank representatives, and government officials from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as around 30 experts and academics from China. This year’s event marked a significant milestone in fostering dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation between China and the CEE region.

Since its establishment in 2013, the High-Level Think Tank Symposium has become a cornerstone of the China–CEEC Cooperation Mechanism, providing a platform for high-level dialogue, policy exchange, and academic collaboration.
This year’s Symposium was hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Secretariat of Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries, and organized by the Institute of European Studies, CASS, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Croatia, and Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
