The panel will feature Damjan Rudež, former professional basketball player, and Maja, former professional volleyball player, who will share their experiences from the world of sports and education.

Damjan Rudež is a former professional basketball player from Zagreb who, over the course of his 16-year career, played for 13 teams in seven different countries, including the Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Orlando Magic in the NBA. As a member of the Croatian national team, Rudež competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, the 2015 World Championship in Spain, as well as three European Championships and the Mediterranean Games. After retiring in 2021, Damjan started his business career by founding a sports consulting company, “DR9 International Sports & Media,” and became a co-owner at the production company “Astoria Productions.” He is currently studying management at Bocconi University in Milan and is an external student at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb.
Maja Poljak is a former professional volleyball player with an extensive international career. She is a multiple-time CEV Champions League winner and a long-time captain of the Croatian national volleyball team. After finishing her sports career, Maja worked at the CEV (European Volleyball Confederation) in Luxembourg, where she advanced to the position of Director of the Events Department. She participated in organizing European Championships in indoor volleyball and beach volleyball, as well as the final stages of the CEV Champions League. After returning to Croatia, she actively contributes to the Croatian Olympic Committee through EU projects and international cooperation. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb and successfully completed the MEMOS Executive Master in Sport Organization Management last year.
