The EUonAIR Alliance has launched a new Call for Proposals aimed at empowering individuals with a migration background to develop impactful projects in their countries of origin.
A total of €200,000 is available, with 10 teams to be funded. Each selected team will receive €20,000, distributed as individual scholarships according to team roles:
The scholarship covers all project implementation costs and is paid in two instalments: the first at the start of the project and the second upon approval of the final report. Double funding for the same activity is not permitted.
Each team must consist of four members (one faculty member, one administrative staff member, and two students), with at least three members coming from non-EU countries. Participants must be affiliated with EUonAIR partner institutions, while multiple applications from the same institution are allowed.
Projects should focus on education, innovation, and community development, with priority given to crisis-affected regions.
The application deadline is 1 June 2026.
