ECUST is comprised of more than 1.7 million square meters on 3 campuses. The main campus, being 17 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport and 45 kilometers from Pudong International
In addition to its downtown location, the university also features two other campuses in Fengxian and Jinshan District. Currently, there are more than 16,300 full time undergraduates and 8,500 graduate students studying at ECUST. The number of faculty and staff members has reached 3,700 among whom there are about 1,000 professors and associate professors.

Degrees

The additional degree program is for students who are enrolled in the Graduate MBA Program here at ZSEM. The first year will be spent in ZSEM and the second year at East China University of Science and Technology. Upon successful completion of the course of studies, the degree-seeking students will receive the degree at the Master’s level from East China University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from ZSEM.

  • Student Life

    A great variety of cultural activities are organized by the university, such as Cultural and Art
    Festival, Ideological and Academic Festival and Society Festival. Those extra-curricular activities give students an opportunity to show their talent as well as to improve their capabilities. The Library of East China University of Science & Technology has a total floor space of 19,648 square meters, providing space for 1601 seats and 2,450,000 volumes of books in several languages, which makes it an ideal place for learning. Shanghai offers you a dynamic, international and cosmopolitan environment. Fun activities in Shanghai include visiting the peaceful Yu Garden, the Shanghai Museum of Art, or trying Shanghai’s street food.

  • The City

    Shanghai is the largest Chinese city by population and the largest city proper by population in the world, with a population of more than 24 million as of 2013. Also, it is a center of commerce, finance, culture and industrial production of China. Located in the Yangtze River Delta in East China, Shanghai sits at the mouth of the Yangtze in the middle portion of the Chinese coast. The municipality borders the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang to the north, south and west, and is bounded to the east by the East China Sea. It is a popular tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, City God Temple and Yu, as well as the extensive Lujiazui skyline and major museums including the Shanghai Museum and the China Art Museum. It has been described as the “showpiece” of the booming economy of mainland China.
