On July 6, the inaugural EUonAIR AI Summit will take place at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, an international event bringing together leading experts in artificial intelligence, economics, and innovation. This year’s edition will be marked by the arrival of the 2025 Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences, Joel Mokyr.
He is one of the world’s most influential economic historians and theorists of technological development, whose work has significantly shaped the understanding of long-term economic growth and the role of innovation. As a professor at Northwestern University and a senior professor at Tel Aviv University, Mokyr offers a unique perspective on the impact of technological change on the economy and society.
In his keynote lecture, Joel Mokyr will address the role of artificial intelligence and technological innovation in organizational transformation, with a particular focus on long-term economic effects and the challenges brought by the AI era.
The EUonAIR AI Summit will focus on a key question for modern business: how organizations move from AI strategy to concrete implementation and measurable value creation. The program also includes expert panels on the application of artificial intelligence in business and education, the development of new skills, responsible use of technology, and the creation of innovation ecosystems connecting academia and industry.
The summit will also feature leading experts from Boston Consulting Group, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, and partner European universities within the EUonAIR alliance, further confirming the international relevance of the event.
The EUonAIR AI Summit is an invite-only event; however, interested participants are welcome to register their interest via the application form. Should a place become available, applicants will be notified in due course.
