Zagreb, Croatia – A team of Croatian students has developed a digital guide to help Croatian students studying at KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux and French students studying at ZSEM, Croatia, to adapt to a new cultural environment and make the most of their study abroad experience. The guide called “BonjourHrvatska” is a comprehensive resource that covers a wide range of topics, including cultural norms, social etiquette, and practical tips for daily life. It is designed to provide valuable insights and advice to students who may be experiencing culture shock or struggling to navigate a foreign environment.
“Studying abroad can be an incredibly rewarding experience, but it can also be challenging, especially when it comes to adapting to a new culture” said Petra, one of the project coordinators. “We developed BonjourHrvatska to help students feel more comfortable and confident in their new surroundings and to foster greater cultural exchange between Croatia
and France”.
The guide will be available in two parts: one for Croatian students studying at KEDGE and one for French students studying in Croatia. It will be accessible online and free of charge. The project was initiated by the European Business Program (EBP) at KEDGE BS and was developed in collaboration with ZSEM in Zagreb, Croatia. “We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with KEDGE on this project” said Petra. “Our hope is that BonjourHrvatska will not only help students navigate a new cultural environment but also foster greater understanding and appreciation between our two countries”.
