Concordia University

Concordia University is a comprehensive university located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The name of the university comes from the motto of the City of Montreal, “Concordia Salus,” which means “well-being through harmony.”

Although the roots of its founding institutions go back more than 160 years, Concordia University was formed on August 24, 1974 through the merger of Loyola College (1896) and Sir George Williams University (1926). The Country

You have two main housing options: Concordia residence halls and private off campus apartments. Concordia residences hall space is limited; priority is given to first year students from outside Montreal; and an application is required. Fortunately, however, the areas surrounding both of Concordia’s campuses have an abundance of housing options in many price ranges. Most exchange students live in off campus apartments. They arrive a week or two earlier, make arrangements for temporary accommodations and then select an apartment after having visited a few.
