Josip Pašalić

Josip Pašalić is an alumni of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management where, after his undergraduate studies, he specialized in marketing on the graduate MBA program. Josip began his career at CROBENZ as an intern in the oil and lubricants sales department, after which he moved to Lukoil as a wholesale and card business salesman and to A1, where he works as a business customer manager.

Due to starting a family and more sunny days a year, Josip returns to his native Kaštela, where he founds his company Magnifico, whose main activity is dry cleaning and textile washing, and which has a dozen employees, including the team that runs the Lord coffee bar, a well-known meeting place in Kaštel Gomilici. In addition to the above, Josip currently works as a regional manager for Julius Meinl Bonfanti.

There is always some free time for football. Josip is a member of the board of NK GOŠK Kaštela, which in four years brought it from the county league to the third Croatian football league, and is the marketing director of the Dalmatinko Cup, the largest children’s football competition in this part of Europe.

Matko Pašalić

Matko Pašalić is the executive director of Apfel, which was founded in 1996. The company’s business started in a garage, and today, after 26 years of operation, the company has 130 full-time employees and up to 200 employees in the summer season. Matko’s first jobs in the family business started when he was 13 years old and when he helped with seasonal work. Apfel Arena is a new project that the Pašalić family designed and successfully implemented in October of this year.

Matko completed his studies in economics and management at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where he specialized in the graduate MBA program. After his studies, he started his career at Coca-Cola Hellenic Hrvatska, and then at a wine wholesaler in Zagreb. In 2013, Matko decided to start a family and returned to her native Makarska. He is the father of two children, Mihovil and Katja.

In his spare time, he plays sports, without which his life would be unimaginable. For the last eight years, he has been a member of the board of the futsal club Novo Vrijeme Makarska, which is a three-time champion of Croatia, and this year it was also positioned among the 16 best futsal clubs in Europe.

Tomislav Pašalić

Tomislav Pašalić is a member of the board for finance of the Uja Group. The Uje group has several members engaged in retail and wholesale of delicatessen Mediterranean products, catering for Croatia Airlines, production of food products (uje.hr), hotel management (Hotel San Canzian) and catering (Uje oilbar), retail and wholesale of summer fashion range (aquamaritime.hr). en). The group employs 150 employees, with that number increasing slightly during the season.

Tomislav graduated from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management and specialized in quantitative finance through the MBA program. He started his career as a financial analyst of credit and guarantee programs financed by the EU in the agency HAMAG-BICRO. He soon assumed the position of Head of Guarantee Programs, and after that the position of Director of the Financial Instruments Sector. Two years ago, he returned to Kaštela, where he lives with his wife and three children in a newly built home. In his free time, he plays recreational sports and follows football.
