Graduation ceremony at ZŠEM!

On June 26, 2024, at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, graduation ceremony was held for the graduates of the undergraduate programs in Economics and Management and Business Mathematics and Economics, as well as the MBA program.

The graduation ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Mrs. Nathalie Rayes, Ambassador of the United States of America, H.E. Mr. Qianjin Qi, Ambassador of China, and H.E. Mr. Iso Masato, Ambassador of Japan, the President of the Croatian Diplomatic Club, Professor dr. sc. Emilio Marin, and the Dean of the Technical Polytechnic of Zagreb, Associate Professor dr. sc. Jana Žiljak Gršić. Members of the Advisory Board of Zagreb School of Economics and Management also graced the ceremony with their presence.

The Dean of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, dr. sc. Mato Njavro, addressed the graduates and guests with a welcome speech. An inspiring speech was delivered by H.E. Mrs. Nathalie Rayes, Ambassador of the United States of America, who shared her valuable insights and encouraged the graduates on their future paths.

You are not just graduates but you are future leaders. You are the leaders of the future. You have the power and the potential to shape the world for the better. Your ideas, your passion, your commitment to justice and fairness—these are the tools with which you will build a brighter future for all of us.

The ceremony was also honored by the presence of dr. sc. Siniša Krajnović, a member of the Advisory Board of ZSEM and a partner at McKinsey and Company in China, who shared his career journey and provided valuable advice and motivation for future professional challenges. Representatives of the graduates, Kelvin Maina Njehia and Latica Blagoev, addressed the audience, expressing gratitude and pride in their achievements.

The diplomas were ceremoniously awarded to the graduates by the Dean of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management dr.sc. Mato Njavro, the Vice Dean for the Undergraduate Program dr. sc. Goran Oblaković, and the Vice Dean for the MBA Program, Associate Professor dr. sc. Maja Martinović.

The musical part of the program was enriched by the talented future student Ana Ćurić, who performed a piece on the piano.
