The Zagreb School of Economics and Management organizes the ZSEM Ball, a festive event that brings together our ZSEM community for the eighth year; students, alumni, the business community, parents, professors, employees, and friends of the school. At the ZSEM ball, old contacts are renewed, new ones are created, friendships are made, and business ventures are started. ZSEM BAll is an event where generations of students and alumni connect, strengthening our ZSEM community and contributing to the further development of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
From 2002 to the present, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management has developed new studies at the undergraduate level and expanded the selection of concentrations at the graduate level. With 1000 students, 3000 alumni, and more than 150 lecturers, the ZSEM community is continuously growing.
We are proud of the donations to the Ivana Hodak Foundation, with which ZSEM provided more than 120 scholarships and enabled the scholarship recipients to receive an exceptional quality of higher education and develop skills and competencies during their studies. We are proud of the results of our scholarship holders and hope that we will provide financial support during their studies with joint efforts and new generations. All excess funds collected this year will be invested in scholarships for gifted and needy students through the Ivana Hodak Foundation.
The success of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management is reflected in the success of all of us – our students, alumni, lecturers, and the business community. So far, we have achieved desirable results together, and our motivation for excellence in the coming years. Thank you for recognizing the value and quality of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
We hope that with your presence, you will brighten this evening and become part of a tradition that has already become close to the hearts of many and that we will celebrate all our successes and yours together!

The White Quartet was founded in 2023 after many years of collaboration among its members. The quartet consists of professional musicians with master’s degrees from the Music Academy in Zagreb, while some members have completed their master’s degrees at Hochschule Franz Liszt in Weimar and postgraduate studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, along with many other forms of further education. The White Quartet has participated in various ceremonies, concerts, festivals, and corporate events, and has numerous collaborations with renowned domestic and foreign singers at concerts and in studio recordings of new songs. Most of their performances feature their own arrangements tailored to specific events and the desires of the audience.
Ana Ćurić is a talented young pianist and a first-year student at ZSEM (Zagreb School of Economics and Management) and the Academy of Music in Zagreb, where she is honing her piano skills. Throughout her work so far, she has won numerous awards at international and national competitions and has had the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Croatia.
Laura Krog is a first year student of the Undergraduate study in Economics and Management at ZŠEM (Zagreb School of Economics and Management). She has been practicing Latin and standard dance since she was five. She has participated in numerous Croatian and international competitions and has achieved great results in the finals with her dance partners. As a result, she became a member of the Croatian National Dance Team and a categorized athlete with the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO). At the age of 16, she represented Croatia at the World Latin Dance Championship for adults in Pforzheim. In her free time, she enjoys photography and painting.
Tena Vodopija, Master of Marketing, has been singing for as long as she can remember, primarily in the pop genre, with her latest hit being the song Taj. In the jazz world, she collaborated with Matija Dedić, guest-starring on his latest album. She regularly performs on Saturdays at the Cabaret of Komedija Theatre and the sold-out Kontesa club. Besides music and running the Kontrafor Studio for interior design, she plans to launch her line of designer furniture, continuing a rich career in music, design, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. sc. Hrvoje Maljak began his musical journey as a five-year-old child when he first sat down at the piano. Today, with great enthusiasm and a love for music, he enjoys playing the piano, and his passion has led him to create his compositions, which have been performed at the Zagreb Festival and the CMC Festival. Besides being a talented musician, Hrvojelso is a lecturer at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM). At the formal ball, Hrvoje will showcase his incredible piano talent, providing us with an unforgettable and inspiring musical evening.
Stefany, a talented musician with exceptional vocal abilities and a refreshing presence on the domestic music scene, hails from the island of Krk. Dedicated to singing from a young age, she stood out as a contestant on The Voice. Now, with a degree and big musical ambitions, she draws attention with her concerts and new music. Her dream of performing at DORA comes true in 2024, where she qualified for the finals with the song “God Will Grant Us Happy Days,” which quickly climbed the charts and became the title track of her debut album, released in September.
Marko Orešković has excellent taste in music, choosing songs that are popular on the charts while also carrying a deep emotional impact. This music “curator” brings a variety of styles that follow the rhythms of life — from those who enjoy dancing to those who, with a cocktail in hand, are reflecting on something important like a diploma. Such a music selection can be a true blend of fun, relaxation, and reflection, perhaps even a search for personal answers through melodies that add a tone to each moment of life.
