On June 26, 2025, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management held a formal graduation ceremony for the undergraduate programs in Economics and Management, Business Mathematics and Economics, as well as the MBA graduate program.
The ceremony commenced with a performance of the Croatian national anthem “Lijepa naša” by the vocal ensemble Klapa Fjabule, followed by a welcome address from the Dean, Dr. Mato Njavro, who congratulated the graduates and their families and shared inspiring words on the importance of knowledge, dedication, and personal growth in shaping the future.
A special highlight of this year’s ceremony was the speech delivered by Mr. Victor Dodig, President and CEO of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, who shared his personal experiences and encouraged the graduates to boldly embrace challenges and take an active role in driving positive change in the world.
On behalf of the graduates, Tea Pernar, representative of the undergraduate class, and Jason Knudson, representative of the MBA program, addressed the audience, expressing gratitude to the professors, families, and colleagues for their support throughout their studies and pride in their shared accomplishments.
Degrees were formally awarded by ZSEM Dean Dr. Mato Njavro, MBA Program Vice Dean Professor Dr. Maja Martinović, and Undergraduate Program Vice Dean Dr. Goran Oblaković.
The ceremony concluded with the performance of the student anthem “Gaudeamus” and a group photo session, followed by a reception in the pleasant atmosphere of the ZSEM campus.
