The project called Better incorporation of good governance principles for better volleyball success within the ERASMUS + SPORT Project started in 2019 under the leadership of the Croatian Volleyball Federation. In addition to ZSEM, six national volleyball federations and the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split are also participating in the project.
The project’s duration is 24 months, and the maximum amount of the grant is around 353,000.00 EUR.
The project’s goal is to implement good management of volleyball federations and clubs based on ten criteria of good management.
Based on an in-depth analysis of the management of volleyball federations and respect for the principles of good governance in Austria, Iceland, Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Croatia, examples of good practice will be identified and recommendations made.
The Zagreb School of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split will determine the methodology of work and support the process of drafting a five-year strategic and two-year action plan for six national volleyball federations and tools for controlling and monitoring the implementation of developed plans.
The next transnational meeting will be held in mid-April in Rome (Italy), where in addition to all coordinators and members of the BIGG4VB Project Team, the presidents and secretaries of all six national federations will gather.
