Mateja Kovačić, MBA, is a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Management, Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. She is involved in teaching the undergraduate courses Management and Strategic Management, as well as the graduate course Strategy.
She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where she also completed her undergraduate studies.
She actively contributes to numerous international initiatives, including the European University Alliance EUonAIR (European University on AI in Curricula, Smart UniverCity and (Return)Mobility), where she contributes to the coordination of governance bodies and to cooperation with partner institutions, as well as the projects Erasmus Mundus in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) and 4InnoPipe2. She has also participated in the project “Recognizing and Exposing Disinformation – New Technologies, Experience and Knowledge as Tools.”
Her academic and professional interests span management, strategic management, governance structures and corporate governance, with a particular focus on higher education development, EU policy, and decision-making dynamics within European university alliances.
