Marija Ivanković completed her undergraduate studies in Business mathematics and economics at ZSEM in 2022 with the topic “The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on risk on the Croatian capital market”. She gained international experience at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands in 2024, attending and graduating with a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management as part of the MBA programs with an additional degree. The Master’s thesis “I’m just a girl: Examining the relationship between Supply Chain performance and gender diversity on boards”, under the mentorship of dr.ir. Kasper van der Vliet, investigates the relationship between Supply Chain performance and the percentage of women on the boards of public companies in Europe. She is currently completing an MBA study in Finance and Banking at ZSEM.
She is an assistant at the Department of Economics and Mathematics at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. She is currently teaching quantitative courses Statistics 1, Statistics 2 in English and Croatian, and Probability and Statistics in English. Current research work is directed towards combining economics, statistics and finance with the use of artificial intelligence. She translated the book „The Executive Guide to Artificial Intelligence: How to implement applications of AI in your organization“ by Andrew Burgess to Croatian.
