Luka Kučer, MBA, defended his thesis “Yield Curve Spread and Moving Average Crossover on the S&P 500” at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where he earned a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking. During his studies, he participated in an exchange program at Nagoya University of Commerce & Business in Japan, focusing on Global Leadership. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
Currently, Luka works as a Business Intelligence Developer at Infobip, Croatia’s first unicorn company. Previously, he spent over five years as a Business Data Analyst at the same company. Both roles integrate technical expertise with the automation of financial reporting and profitability management, emphasizing core business insights. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in negotiations, contract evaluation, business model assessments, profitability optimization, market trend analysis, competitor analysis, financial and strategic reporting, and the automation and visualization of reports.
In addition, he serves as a Teaching Assistant at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where he teaches Financial Institutions and Markets to both domestic and international students.
Luka’s previous experience includes positions at Grubišić & Partners Corporate Finance, where he worked as a Financial Analyst specializing in M&A, company valuations, and financial due diligence, and InterCapital, where he was a Junior Portfolio Manager focusing on bond, FX, equity, and derivatives investing for high-net-worth clients.
