The first StartUp Weekend was held for ZŠEM freshmen, where they showed their entrepreneurship skills as well as their presentation skills for the first time. After the project and task were presented to them on the first day of class, they had only 4 days to agree on the project within their groups. The project aimed to design a product or service based on artificial intelligence.
At the StartUp Weekend that you held on Saturday, September 10, the students were joined by alumni of ZŠEM who have launched successful businesses from their Startups. We hung out with Luka Glavaš, the founder of Flaster; Hrvoje Ćosić, director of AirCash; Anita Flajšlik, Agrivi; Lana Balić, director of Careesmaa; Bojana Maglaić, manager at Hrvatsko Telekom; Marko Nožica, founder of Aretis; Ivan Šabić, deputy director of Carnet along with our professors and lecturers.
The winners of the StartUp Weekend were the Vision Stick team, which, together with the other participants of the StartUp Weekend, visited the Rimac Group as a reward, and we visited Samobor.
