The Zagreb School of Economics and Management organizes the ZSEM ball again this year, a festive event that brings together our ZSEM community for the sixth year; students, alumni, business community, parents, professors, employees and friends of the school. At the ZSEM ball, old contacts are renewed and new ones are created, friendships are made and business ventures are started. The ball is an event where generations of students and alumni connect, which strengthens our ZSEM community and contributes to the further development of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
We are slowly counting down the days until the ZSEM Ball, which will be held on December 10 at 8 p.m. in the Crystal Hall of the Westin Zagreb Hotel. The talents of ZŠEM will provide the entertainment at the 6th ZSEM Ball: Martin Kutnar, Stefany Žužič, Antenella Peraić, Anja Bakula, Zvonimir Krajač and Bevel Dance Studio with the support of our professors Matej Nakić and Hrvoj Maljko. A valuable raffle for all participants was made possible by Croatia Airlines, Hotel Ikador, Jadranski luxury hotels and restaurants Takenoko and Pod Zidom. Cvit Happens decorates the entire event, and to document everything else, Photobootique will take care of it with its photo and video booths. Thank you for brightening up this evening with your presence and becoming part of a tradition that has already become close to the hearts of many!
From 2002 to the present, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management has developed new studies at the undergraduate level and expanded the selection of concentrations at the graduate level, and also provides support for enrolling in doctoral studies at Sheffield Hallam University. With 1000 students, 2400 alumni and more than 100 lecturers, the ZSEM community is continuously growing. We have successfully competed for several European Union projects, and we are currently the holder or participating in 4 projects.
In the jubilee 20th anniversary of its existence, we are really proud of the donations to the Ivana Hodak Foundation, with which ZSEM provided more than 110 scholarships, and which enabled the scholarship recipients to receive an exceptional quality of higher education and develop skills and competencies during their studies. We are proud of the results of our scholarship holders and hope that we will provide financial support during their studies with joint efforts and new generations. All excess funds collected this year will be invested in scholarships for gifted and needy students through the Ivana Hodak Foundation.
The success of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management is reflected in the success of all of us, our students, alumni and lecturers and the business community. So far, we have achieved enviable results together, which is our motivation for excellence in the coming years as well. Thank you for recognizing the value and quality of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
We hope that with your presence you will brighten this evening and become part of a tradition that has already become close to the hearts of many, and that we will celebrate all our successes and yours together!

Stefany Žužić has been involved in music since she was young. She completed elementary and secondary music school. After she participated in The Voice Croatia in 2016, she began her musical career. She is proud of her six original songs.
Martin Kutnar, accordionist and cellist, graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb. He covers popular hits in an original and innovative way that pushes boundaries and breaks down preconceptions about instruments. He is currently a permanent member of the Mint Cabaret show.
Growing up in a musical family, Anja Bakula developed an interest in music from an early age. She graduated from elementary music school and sang in various ensembles, of which she would particularly like to highlight the klapa with which she participated at the Omiš festival – the crown of klapa literature. She currently sings in the church choir. Participating in musical activities helped her understand that music is much more than notes. Music is pure art that can be anything we imagine and that speaks even when words don’t work.
Young and ambitious, highly educated and motivated Dorotea Jerić and our alumna, Mia Bilogrević, founded Bevel Dance Studio in 2020.
Today, Beveldance brings together children, young people and adults who, under the guidance of experienced dance leaders, write their dance story and develop in jazz dance and commercial dance styles. In just two years of operation, Bevelice created their own conceptual choreographic projects and were part of international competitions and performances throughout Lijepa Naša, and their next stop is the ZŠEM ball.
Antonella Peraić started her musical journey at the age of three in the choir Zagrebačanke i dečki. She also performed in KD Lisinski and graduated from music school. He is currently studying at Berklee College of Music, and at the same time he is working on a project and his first song.
Matej Nakić is an author, performer, guitarist and singer of the band BluVinil, with two studio albums behind him and a nomination in the RockOff category for artist of the year. He has been holding concerts with the band all over Croatia and beyond for three years, sharing the stage with various big names in the local music scene.
Zvonimir Krajač started playing music 10 years ago. Through summer tours and guest appearances, he worked with numerous world names such as: Black Coffee, Mike Vale, Weiss, Mahmut Orhan, Terry Francis, Niki Belucci, Paolo Barbato, eSquire, The Shapeshifters, Pete Tong, David Morales. In addition, he did official afterparties for Ultra Europe (Plastik Funk, Sigala) and Toolroom (Mark Knight, Dennis Cruz, Adrian Hour).
A non-profit organization that was founded in 2009 in memory of the deceased young lawyer Ivana Hodak, who had just started her career, with the aim of providing financial support to the higher education of young and gifted people who strive for excellence, but do not have enough funds to afford their own education. In the period from 2009 until today, ZSEM donated more than HRK 3,000,000.00 to provide funds for more than 100 scholarships.
Ivana Kesten, started her education as one of the first scholarship recipients at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. In 2015, Ivana moved to Switzerland where she worked at Raiffeisen Bank in the CSR Department with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental protection. In 2018, Ivana was ranked on the prestigious list of 30 under 30 in the Inspiring leaders category in GreenBiz magazine, at that time she worked as Sustainability operations manager for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index in the investment company RobecoSAM. He currently works as a Lead ESG Business Analyst at S&P Global in Zurich.
Andi Islami, with the help of the ZSEM Career Center, Andi did his internship at Phillip Morris International. In addition, he did an internship at Hrvatsko Telekom and worked closely with Apple in Croatia for three years, working in various departments. After completing his undergraduate studies in economics and management, Andi got a job at Bentley Motors in London, and continued to build his career in the luxury goods industry and currently works at Ralph Lauren as Digital Operations Manager, Omni-Channel for the EMEA region.
