Emil Tedeschi is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Grupa, a
leading food and beverages producer and distributor in South East Europe with
1 billion USD$ turnover and more than 5500 employees in ten countries. He is
the founder and, through his wholly owned company Myberg, the majority
shareholder in the company, that has since 1991 developed from a local
Croatian distributor into one of the largest and most dynamic companies in the
region and an ambitious international player. Atlantic Grupa went public on
2007 and since than that was the largest IPO of any private company in South
East Europe.
His company success has been partially covered in Harvard Business School
case study “Atlantic Grupa”, only one from a region of South East Europe,
written by Xuan, Yuhai, and Mato Njavro, Case 215-077, published on June
2015.
He holds degree in Economic and Management from ZSEM and he studied in
Univerista per i Stranieri di Perugia, Italy and INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.
Emil has been an integral part of the Zagreb School of Economics and
Management (ZSEM) community for over 15 years. As a Clinical Professor of
Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Tedeschi has made significant contributions to
both the bachelor’s and master’s level courses on Entrepreneurship and
Strategic Management, where his expertise and real-world experience have
enriched the academic environment.
Tedeschi’s involvement with ZSEM extends beyond the classroom. He has
served as a valued member of ZSEM’s Advisory Board, where his insights and
strategic vision have played an important role in guiding the Institution’s
growth and development. His support and advocacy were instrumental in ZSEM
achieving prestigious international AACSB accreditation, placing the school
among a select few globally recognized for their academic rigor and excellence.
Tedeschi continues to champion ZSEM’s internationalization efforts, fostering
partnerships and collaborations that enhance the school’s global presence and
ensure its programs remain at the forefront of business and economics
education in the Central and Eastern Europe region.
With his extensive background in entrepreneurship and business strategy, Emil
