Zagreb School of Economics and Management is proud to announce the Jean Monnet ORPHEUS Conference, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project Organisation, Preparation and Hosting EU Studies – Jean Monnet Module Introduction to the European Union.
The conference will take place on May 9, 2025, starting at 10 AM at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, in the HKS Classroom.
The conference brings together members of the academic and business communities, institutional representatives, and policymakers, with the aim of promoting an open dialogue on the role of higher education in strengthening European values, sustainability, and active citizenship.
Among the distinguished speakers is Dr. Tomislav Sokol, Member of the European Parliament, who will deliver a keynote speech on the current challenges and opportunities facing the European Union.
As part of a panel dedicated to international trade policy, the conference will feature a discussion on the impact of Donald Trump’s customs policy on the European Union, with contributions from experts from academia and the business sector.
The conference will be opened by Dr. Mato Njavro, Dean of ZSEM, and Dr. Dubravka Kovačević, Associate Dean for Project Initiatives and Development at ZSEM.
