The Student Conference on Information Systems Management is an event that brings together leading companies in Croatia to use information systems and the best student projects in the Management of Information Systems course in introducing ERP systems in selected companies.
The conference’s primary goal is to present the best student projects on introducing ERP systems in selected companies in the Management of Information Systems course. In the last few decades, with the computerization of business processes and the systematic introduction of information systems into business, along with the accelerated development of technology, there has been a need for education in the field of information systems management. The basic principles and advanced examples of information systems management will be presented at this conference through a series of guest lectures by experts from practice. To bring students – our young, future specialists – closer to this important category in the modern economy, through the Management of Information Systems course, in the final (4th) year of professional studies, we enable students to publish their first scientific and professional papers through projects implementing information systems in the operations of selected companies. The course has the task of developing the ability to understand the information system from a business perspective; information systems in small, medium, and large companies – their development and management.
