ESSEC Business School is one of the best business schools in Europe.

It has three main campuses in Cergy- Pontoise, 30 km west of Paris, La Défense and Singapore since 2006. ESSEC was the first business school outside of North America to be accredited by the AACSB in 1997. In 2003, ESSEC received accreditation for all its programs from EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System). Also, it is accredited by the French Ministry of Education. ESSEC has established more than 157 exchange agreements and 19 double-degree program agreements with world’s most respected institutions. 30% of ESSEC students come from outside of France. The ESSEC community of 4,400 students represents over 90 nationalities.

The Country

It is located in the north of France on the river Seine and has the reputation of being the most romantic city. The city contains numerous iconic landmarks, such as the world’s most visited tourist site the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, Moulin Rouge, Lido etc.

Paris is one of the largest agglomerations in Europe with almost 12 million people living in the whole metropolitan area. Also, it is home to the world’s finest and most luxurious fashion designers and cosmetics, such as Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint-Laurent, Guerlain, Lancôme, L’Oréal, Clarins, etc.

Through ALEGESSEC (ESSEC’s student housing association), ESSEC Business School offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms and studio apartments near the campus, as well as other amenities to help simplify day-to-day life. ALEGESSEC manages 1,095 studios (single or double) across four residences in Cergy. Residences are situated in walking distance of the campus or are quickly reached by the trains and buses of Cergy.

With 3,800 national monuments in and around Paris, you will have the opportunity to explore. Also, Palace of Versailles is located just 20 km away from the capital.
