On October 25, ZSEM hosted another Alumni After Work Meet Up, which took place at the El Toro restaurant, co-owned by our alumnus Jan Jerič.
The Alumni After Work Meet Up gathered 100 former students, including the first generation of undergraduate studies that enrolled to ZSEM in 2002. We are very happy that the active alumni community is growing fast and look forward to seeing you at the next alumni gathering!
The ZŠEM alumni project is an initiative started by alumni themselves.
“We believe that we can create a strong and active community that will foster success and collaboration. Since 2002, over 2800 students have graduated from ZSEM, and 1,200 are still studying and will soon become part of the alumni community. Representatives of every generation gather their peers at interesting events throughout the year to share experiences, ideas and connect as friends and potential business partners. The alumni meetups are the perfect opportunity to gain new, valuable acquaintances, and reconnect with old friends.
Monitoring the careers of successful ZSEM alumni, staying in contact with them, connecting alumni and current students, mentoring ZSEM students, having alumni hold guest lecturers at ZSEM, helping alumni to promote their start-ups, offering student internships at the alumni start-ups – these are just some of the ideas that will be useful to the entire alumni community.
The idea is to gather at existing events such as conferences, lectures, after work parties, the annual ZSEM Ball, but also to create new traditions such as sports tournaments, Alumni Brunch, and get to know current ZSEM students at the Student Future Day.”
We hope to see everyone again at the 4th ZSEM Ball on December 15th at Hotel Westin.
