Beginning of the academic year 24./25.

On September 2, 2024, ZSEM marked the beginning of the academic year through Orientation Day and the Ceremony at the Beginning of the Academic Year on 24/25.

On Orientation Day, new students had the opportunity to meet professors, vice-deans, and other members of the academic staff. New students received important information about the study program, rules, expectations, and student associations and activities available to them during their studies.

At the Ceremony marking the beginning of the academic year, the Dean of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Mato Njavro, PhD, addressed the attendees. His speech was aimed at our new freshmen and students who achieved top academic results and were on the Dean’s List.

After the Dean, Professor Borna Jalšenjak, PhD, spoke about the importance of the AACSB accreditation that ZSEM received as a confirmation of its commitment to excellence and constant improvement of the quality of education. This accreditation brings ZSEM an additional reputation and confirmation of quality at the international level.

As a special guest, Dejan Turk, a member of the Management Board and CEO of A1 Croatia, also spoke at the Ceremony. Mr. Turk shared with the audience his rich experiences in the world of business, especially referring to his journey in the company A1 and the successes he achieved in his career.

After the inspiring speeches, the Dean’s List was awarded to students with exceptional academic success. Congratulations once again to all Dean’s List students!
