Tomislav Galac

Tomislav Galac is a Lecturer at the Graduate School of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where he has taught the course Introduction to Financial Econometrics since 2012.

He earned his M.S. degree in Mathematics from the Syracuse University, NY, USA, in 1997, with emphasis on probability and statistics. Earned his B.A. degree in Mathematics (with the Computer Science Minor) from Carthage College, WI, USA in 1995.

Since 1997, he works at the Croatian national bank (CNB). There, he served as the first Head of the Financial Stability Department (2004-2007), and he has been serving as the Executive Director of the CNB Statistics Area ever since May 2014.

In the period from Fall 2007 until Fall 2009 he served as an Advisor to the Executive Director of the Netherlands Constituency at the International Monetary Fund, representing Croatia.
