ESCA School of Management

Founded in 1992, the ESCA School of Management has successfully fulfilled its mission as a higher education institution in the field of management.

Created to accompany business development through the training of high-level executives in various management positions, the school has adapted progressively to the fast changes of the Moroccan economy. The university enrolls more than 2100 graduates. In addition, ESCA School of Management’s exchange programs are very active; the school has over 50 international partners from more than 20 countries on 4 continents.

The Country

Morocco, officially the Kingdom of Morocco, is a country in North Africa. Morocco has a population of over 33 million and its political capital is Rabat, although the largest city is Casablanca. Morocco has been influenced by several civilizations since Antiquity, which has produced an incomparable historical heritage. Religious tolerance, Andalusian

heritage, and the prosperity of these dynasties created treasures, which now constitute the cultural, artistic and architectural richness of the country. Today, His Majesty King Mohammed VI rules Morocco. The monarchy ensures the unity of the country, and the reign of Mohammed VI is marked by a desire to build a unified and modern democratic state, which respects its traditions and its identity. Nature is never far away in Morocco. Desert, mountains, valleys and sea – the country has plenty to offer fans of the outdoors.

The City

Casablanca the largest city of Morocco, is located in the western part of the country on the Atlantic Ocean. It is also the largest city in the region, as well as one of the largest and most important cities in Africa, both economically and demographically. The leading Moroccan companies and international corporations doing business there have their headquarters and main industrial facilities in Casablanca. Casablanca is a modern city built by people from different origins. It has long been a melting pot of cultures, and inspired original urban architecture. Numerous features make the urban space and buildings in Casablanca an outstanding contribution to the body of the Southern Mediterranean architecture. Casablanca personifies modern Morocco living in harmony with the rich heritage it has acquired over the centuries. It is considered the economic and business center of Morocco.

Student Life

Being at the ESCA, is also having a Community life. Through Community Life, students gain a sense of initiative, develop new knowledge and enhance their capacity to undertake. This is one of the pillars of their self-realization and personal development. Thus, students organize and participate in cultural activities, sports, solidarity, international relations, innovation and creativity and pre-professional projects. In the heart of business center in Casablanca they have: 2 amphitheaters, two multimedia rooms, audiovisual equipment, multimedia self-service, online library and personalized access to streaming Internet, café, Intranet, wireless.

Travel Opportunities

Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and the country’s main port, which translates into quite a few gritty and industrial-looking neighborhoods. But Casablanca is also the most cosmopolitan of Morocco’s cities, with nightclubs, fast food chains and high-end boutiques. Casablanca is often the first stop for international passengers flying in from afar, and the city is basically used as a transit point. But before you dismiss it entirely and quickly move on to Fes, Rabat or Marrakech, you must stop to visit the Hassan II Mosque, honestly one of the most beautiful buildings ever built. Casablanca Voyagers station serves trains to Fes, Marrakech, and Tangier with stops in between and also there are intercity buses and various private lines that run services to most notable Moroccan towns.
