Students gain international experience through exchanges at 150 partner universities without additional tuition costs and on the campus in Zagreb, where more than 300 international students study annually. In a world where business is global, a global perspective is becoming crucial for all those who want to build successful careers in Croatia or abroad. The international experience greatly influences your personal and professional development by which you gain a comparative advantage in the labour market, learn foreign languages and make new friendships.
By going on an international exchange, students further develop in their field of interest at the world’s best universities such as the University of Michigan Flint in the USA, the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, ESSEC or EDHEC in France, Frankfurt School of Finance in Germany, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and many others.
Javier Aguayo, head of the international office, helps students choose one of 150 prestigious partner universities in more than 60 countries worldwide. The International Office advises students according to their areas of interest, so Javier recommends Frankfurt School of Finance to students interested in finance, Tilburg University to those particularly interested in economics, and KEDGE business school to those who want to develop in logistics and supply chain. The International Office guides students through the student exchange application process and assists in obtaining visas, residence permits, and Erasmus scholarships to which every ZSEM student is entitled by the grade point average.
