At the event, we will host Anja Ademi, head of the office of the Mayor of the City of Pula, Antea Carić, project manager for FF&E INTERNOVE and Jurja Šikonja, director of operations Maistra Hospitality Group.

Anja Ademi is an alumnus of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. During her undergraduate studies, she was a South Korean government scholarship holder on a student exchange at Sogang University. She holds a master’s degree in finance from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
She started his career in the Planning Department at Hanwha Group in Seoul, then as CRO (Chief Risk Officer) at AZ fund in Zagreb.
Four years ago, she returned to Pula and joined the family business in the yachting industry as CFO.
She assumed her position in the City of Pula in the second half of 2021. Today, the City of Pula, the Head of the Board of Local Self-Government, p.o. Head of the Management Board for the communal system and real estate management and Local Strategic Coordinator.
Antea Carić graduated from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, majoring in Finance and Accounting. During her undergraduate studies, she did a year of student exchange in Barcelona, at the EADA Business School, and then a year at the Toulouse Business School in Nantes. After her studies, she worked for three years in the purchasing department for Valamar Hotels & Resorts. In 2016, she joined the Internova team and took over the marketing department. At Internova, Antea started to create a new department and a new offer – trade and engineering, the so-called FF&E. Thanks to that, Internova has gained the trust of reliable and high-quality suppliers from the countries of the European Union and has compiled them on the list of experts for custom-made carpentry, which suits its clients only with products of the highest quality. In 2022, with a colleague, he founded a new brand called HIDDE, which creates and produces its own exclusive furniture collection.
Juraj Šikonja is the director of operations of 35 Maistra hotels, resorts, and camps (including GPHR – 2022 best hotel in Croatia) and more than 100 restaurants and bars (including Agli Amici – Michelin star; Cap Aureo – Michelin recommendation). He leads more than 4,000 workers in daily activities and operations at four destinations: Rovinj, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Vrsar.
Before Maistra, Juraj worked at McKinsey & Company as Engagement Manager and Consultant. Juraj graduated from undergraduate studies at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management and received his master’s degree from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Zagreb and MBA studies at INSEAD.
